LSTRELAY is a utility that enables sysops to automate the generation
of news files announcing time and date of last network mail transfer.
LSTRELAY currently supports PCRelay, PostLink, GAPNet, Rnet and TNET
network software. The LSTRELAY utility allows the sysop to select
either one screen design, or let the program select a different
one each day.
LSTRELAY will also import a private message to the sysop in the main
forum message base of the BBS. This message will provide information
regarding the status of the last mail run. Sysop will be informed of
the number of messages imported, number of messages exported, name of
files requested/sent and other information collected from the network
software's log file.
For those of you who are anxious to get started, here is the quick
installation:
1) Place LSTRELAY.EXE in any directory, generally in it's own
directory, but may be placed in any directory you wish.
2) Place LSTRELAY.CFG any directory you wish, generally in the
same directory as LSTRELAY.EXE.
3) Put the appropriate responses into your CFG file. The
sample contains guidance on how to complete it.
4) Create a separate CFG file, each either named differently
or placed in different directories, for each network you echo.
5) Place the following line into your mail run batch file
following the IMPORT command:
LSTRELAY LSTRELAY.CFG
where LSTRELAY.CFG is replaced by the name of config file
if you have renamed it.
REMEMBER to include full path\filename if LSTRELAY.CFG:
a) has been renamed
b) is not in same directory where you called program from
ENJOY!
